Should you run sales for your farm to table meat business?

Some "gurus" advise against running sales and promotions. 

But… ChopLocal has had a lot of success with sales and promotions.

For example, we held a big Black Friday-Small Business Saturday-Cyber Monday sale and November sales volume was 5x compared to October!

We recommend using promotions strategically for 3 reasons:

1. Consumers love sales at the meat counter! And when inflation hits and times get tough, many buyers plan their meals around on-sale meats.

2. Online consumers EXPECT sales and coupons. Most major online retailers have sales and promotions running constantly.

3. Sales during busy seasons can help you acquire NEW customers. Sales during slow seasons will keep customers coming back for more!
